There was a huge thunderstorm at about 11.30pm last night! Thunderstorm was very excited and very impressed that it was happening right outside his window. He sat up and listened to the whole thing, then slept in this morning :) Thunderstorm just asked me what I was doing, he didn’t realise I was updating this blog! He’s asked me to say hello to all the other sock bunnies, as he is missing them. Sometimes I worry that I can’t give him as full a life as he needs. He has some companions in my room but I worry about leaving him for work every day. I have decided to take him with me tomorrow. It has now been several weeks since Thunderstorm arrived, and he is smiling a lot :) I put him on my desk when I first arrived, but I sensed that he was feeling a bit lonely and out of things, so I moved him to my bed. I felt a lot better leaving him for work in the morning, knowing that he was in a safe warm place. Now he alternates between the bed and the desk and seems to be comfortable with both. Thunderstorm hasn’t been out yet, because I wanted him to get used to my room before he went anywhere else. I plan to take him into London this week so he can see a bit more of the world, and then back to Manchester at the weekend so that he can see David. Hopefully there will be photos when I work out how :) I’ve moved to London to be with my mummy now. So many changes to my life but I’m getting to know my mummy. She’s taking good care of me and I’ve met some other friends… David brought me home today. My new mummy is currently in London and I can’t wait to see her, but I’m in a strange place right now… |
