Shasha chats with Albert and has a few drinks!! Albert used to come on holidays with me before the bunnies came along so this time he stayed at home, the pair of them spent time swapping travel stories! [SinglePic not found]It’s been a busy time for the bunnies lately, Shasha and Dedos came with me to visit a friend (who kindly took loads of lovely photos for the bunny blogs – Shasha and Dedos weren’t impressed with my feeble efforts at using the camera)… she has a garden for them to play in… …and Wild (well maybe not so wild…) bunnies for them to chat to!! This is Coco, who is normally quite shy but seemed rather fond of these two; Shasha is a little shy round wild animals and so cuddled up to Dedos who is much better at this sort of thing… …but Shasha gets into it a gives Coco a little kiss… They try living like a wild bunny; Shasha told me she liked the carrots but it was a little cold for her liking and she’s not too sure about hay! The bunnies are very excited – I am flying to Hong Kong and Beijing soon and the bunnies are coming with me!! I grew up in HK but had to leave fairly suddenly, it’ll be good to back and see how things have changed and let the bunnies have a look where I came from!! Have you ever see a bunny fly!! Shasha has had a busy day running around the place, she’s so sociable and chatty; it’s one of the first few times that the two bunnies have done much apart… but I think it’s good for them to have some time away from each other, especially for Dedos who often hides behind Shasha. Shasha has been making friends with some of the office toys and is often to be seen hanging around in the office tea room talking to people. She’s quite an active bunny though and I think she’d like to get out more – it’s a shame it’s getting dark so early now, by the time I finish work not much of the day is left! To make up for it we are all going out for dinner tomorrow and staying over at a friends house where there will be wild bunnies and kittens to play with! Shasha does so like playing with the images on the computer, although she has expressed dismay at her photographic abilities.
The Bunnies have been very good today and been sitting patiently on my desk whilst I worked, Shasha though was a little naughty and knocked over my coffee.. it may be time to see how well we can wash these bunnies!! Everyone here adores them, I think the bunnies like the attention and it’s a nice outing for them – plus we get to go on the train and they always like that! They’re waiting patiently for me to take them home now, and it’s time to go shopping for; the bunnies are hungry!!! Shasha and her brother Dedos have been telling me off for not updating earlier; I think they are quite headstrong bunnies really! So to give you an overview of what’s been happening so far: I picked the bunnies up and after saying their farewells to Blobo-Spike (the last bunny hanging around in the exhibition centre) we were off!! Unfortunately, as is always the case with Manchester, it was raining and so I kept the bunnies covered up until we reached the train station. This is no easy task with such excitable bunnies – the kept peeping out at their surroundings and trying to jump out and go and see people (particularly Shasha)!! The journey home across the pennines is quite beautiful (despite the rain) and I think Shasha was quite taken with the view and so strangely quiet! When we got home they were introduced to my two cats Bob and Gypsy, who aren’t altogether sure about the twins, but I’m sure in time will become firm friends. Since then the bunnies have been getting used to their surroundings and going for walks in the countryside nearby. Today the bunnies came into work with me to meet everyone and see what it is I do, Shasha was uncharacteristically shy – I think it is all these grown up, but after feeding her a few tortilla chips she seems happy. Pictures to follow!! |
