So..It’s been a while! We’ve been very active but not updated in ages.
Miia has since November been on a journey to Cyprus and also London.
She’s been going to concerts but now she’s changing her mind about going to them, because after some, she complained that she stinks of cigarettes. Which is true, I don’t blame her at all.
Miia and Corby have two new friends, it’s very exciting for them. It’s twin stripy sockbunnies! A girl and a boy. The girl is called Rainbow and the boy is called Spearmint. Spearmint has a home, he is currently in London. Rainbow is living here with us. Pictures will follow shortly! :)
For the meantime, here’s a photo of Miia and Corby line-dancing with their friends. Miia is sort of hidden behind Corby.

Here are the bunnies doing some domestic work. Well, Miia is. Corby was having more fun swinging on the end of the ironing board (a picture of that is in the next blog).
Miia is a bit short to reach the iron, so we had to place an apple for her to stand on.

Last week Miia and I decided to make apple pie. We had about 12 massive apples, from Corby’s garden. She found the experience quite fun, but sometimes I had to stop her from eating the pastry. Otherwise there would be none left for the actual apple pie!
However, it turned out that we made more pastry than we needed. So we just made it into ‘VA’ and put it on top. Corby and Miia and my boyfriend know what VA means :).
A bit more thoughtful now, hehe. It’s very pleasant having a bunny around. What makes it even more interesting is that she’s very young and still learning lots of things. And she’s very curious about many things. So thanks Jess for letting us adopt them!

Hiding in the lampshade. Thankfully the lamp wasn’t on. That would’ve hurt!

Watching Jonathan Ross. Jamie Oliver was on. Miia and Corby found it very entertaining, although they don’t tend to watch much tv. One programme they really like though is Curious George.

We’ve been very busy, thats why there hasnt been an update in ages!
Miia said she was worried her friends would be angry at her because she hasn’t been online for so long. But I said I’m sure they’ll understand. Then, eventually she decided to believe what I was saying, and calmed down.
Miia and Corby have been to lots of places in the past few weeks, including a fire-sculptures thing at a park, and a concert! Pictures will follow.
It was very exciting for Miia to see photos of her friends with their adopted parents today! She was bouncing up and down and dancing for ages.

Miia enjoys sitting at the very front of cars, whenever she gets the chance to. She’s likes looking at new places and people and makes lots of comments. Not all of the comments are nice – but that’s funny.
Someone always has to keep a close eye on her, in case she falls down of where she sits. But so far she has been very careful.

On Friday Miia and I visited her brother, Corby, and his dad. We all ate vegetarian lasagne (like Garfield, although he probably prefers it to be not vegetarian), which was great! This is a picture of her on the way home. She likes to sit in my bag and look at people. She likes it that they don’t always notice her, because she is tiny. Her brother was also on the train, but in a different bag.

We are both tired but Miia insisted on writing a blog, so here we are.
Today was a busy day. Miia spent a lot of time getting to know her buddies here better. They are all together in the picture. So far, Rhino and Duck seem to be her best friends. When she first heard Duck she got very scared. She ran away and hid for an hour in a drawer. The reason is that Duck can’t really quack anymore, it just makes a (quite quiet) monster-like sound. I don’t know why, i think it might have a cold. Anyway, i explained to her how nice Duck is and eventually she came out from hiding and they got to know each other.
Miia wants me to say that she misses all her foster brothers and sisters and asks me to say ‘hi’ to everyone. And ‘hugs!’ too, apparently! She hopes they are all well and happy.

Today Miia had her first experience of university life, even though she is too young for that. She insisted on going with me though, so i took her. When the lecture started, she started crying and went to hide in my bag. She said she didn’t like it, because there were too many people around that she didn’t know. When we got home, i discovered that all the mints were gone from my bag. She ate them all..!
Then we got home and there were stuff to be done, like washing of clothes. Miia decided to help. I had to explain to her what a washing machine is. When we put the clothes in, she sat there and giggled as she watched the clothes spinning. She said she’d like to go in next time, but i said ‘no, you’ll drown if you do that’. She said ‘oh, ok.’
In the evening we went to the gym for some workout. Miia watched my stuff while i was at the class, and wanted to have her picture taken with them. We’ll post that picture at a later blog.

Hi, my name is Miia and i was adopted today, along with my brother, Bunny 1. We were taken for a walk today by our adopted parents, and then for dinner to a Chinese Buffet. I didn’t like it, the food smelled of burned oil. But then i got chocolate muffins and ice-cream for dessert. Those were nice. My parents mentioned escaping without having paid, because the food was so bad. But i think they were only joking, they paid in the end! Home is nice, i made some friends already!
My brother will be living nearby and i will get to see him a few times a week, which is very nice! In the future we will probably all move in the same house. That’s what our adopted parents said.
I’m very happy that i finally found a home. It’s nice to have someone around who cares about me.
